Cientos de personas marcharon en defensa de los inmigrantes

- En las principales ciudades del país, cientos de personas salieron a las calles a defender los derechos de los inmigrantes.
- Las marchas se realizaron con motivo del Día del Migrante, celebrado el 18 de diciembre, y en ellas se pidió el cierre de los Centros de Internamiento (CIE).
- Las marchas fueron convocadas por el Movimiento 15M.
En las principales ciudades de España se celebraron ayer domingo una marcha en defensa de los derchos de los inmigrantes, en el marco del Día Internacional del Migrante, y que tuvieron como uno de sus reclamos principales el cierre de los Centros de Internamiento de Extranjeros (CIE).
Con sonido de tambores, pitos y pancartas, cientos de personas han recorrido las calles y plazas de los centros de Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia y Almería, poniendo de relieve las diversas denunciadas presentadas sobre la vulneración de los derechos de los retenidos, así como las condiciones de vida.
En Barcelona, unas 150 personas reclamaron sobre el racismo ligado a la inmigración, la utilización mercantilista de los inmigrantes según las necesidades del mercado laboral y contra el CIE de la Zona Franca, un espacio donde "la policia hace y deshace y donde la integridad humana es vulnerada en todo momento", según los organizadores.
El cierre de los nueve Centros de Internamiento para Extranjeros de toda España y, concretamente, el que se encuentra en la calle Zapadores de la capital del Turia, fue el eje de la marcha realizada en Valencia, y la que acudieron unas 500 personas según la organización.
En Almería, según recoge un cable de Efe, las protestas se hicieron bajo el lema "Por un trato digno en la Oficina de Extranjería", oficina a la que acusan de realizar "masivas denegaciones, extinciones o no renovación de los permisos".
La plaza de Sol fue escenario en Madrid de una concentración a favor de un trato justo hacia los inmigrantes, al igual que en muchas ciduades de España, convocada por el Movimiento 15M.
