Madrid celebra la I Semana de la Afrodescendencia

- Habrá coloquios, música, baile cine y teatro en diferentes museos madrileños.
- Este sábado 22 habrá también actividades dedicadas al público infantil.
En el marco de la I Semana Internacional de la Afrodescendencia que se celebra del 21 al 24 de octubre en Madrid, el Museo de América acogerá este sábado una jornada en la que habrá actividades para toda la familia.
A las 15:30 horas habrá un festival afro-infantil que contará con talleres, bailes, juegos y cuentacuentos para los más pequeños.
Más tarde, a las 18:00 horas, tocará el turno al folclor con el Festival Teatro-Musical Afro que contará con la presentación de grupos de música, baile y y teatro de diversos países africanos y afrodescendientes. Participarán en la jornada festiva artistas como la cantante peruana Mariella Köhn, el grupo dominicano Palos a Lubana, o el artista cubano Pedro Betancourt .
Además de esta jornada festiva, el 23 de octubre en el Matadero de Madrid se hablará de cine y tendrá lugar la charla-coloquio: “Los Africanos y Afrodescendientes y la búsqueda de su espacio en el cine español” que contará con la proyección de varios cortometrajes y una película.
La clausura de la I Semana de la Afrodescendencia será en el Museo de Antropología el lunes a partir de las 17:00 horas con varias charlas que contará con la participación de latinoamericanos representantes de asociaciones relacionadas con la afrodescendencia.
