Catarsis contra los comentarios irracionales
Siempre he creído que la libertad de expresión es un derecho indiscutible; pero con la facilidad y rapidez con que se escriben comentarios en Internet, estoy dudando de esta máxima.
La gente insulta, simplifica y humilla de una manera tan descarada e irracional que, a veces dudo de si han leído realmente el texto al cual hacen alusión o aprovechan el tema para desahogar sus sentimientos más mezquinos.
Me sucedió la semana pasada. Intenté reflexionar sobre la indiferencia y las ofensas que reciben miles de niños en España sólo por ser hijos de extranjeros y, ¿qué me encontré? Una pared aún peor que la que pretendía denunciar: el odio recalcitrante de quienes no admiten la diferencia y unos argumentos tan faltos de coherencia y sensatez, que casi me producen lástima.
También encontré, por supuesto, comentarios que invitaban al debate. Y es que a mí no me interesa que todo el mundo esté de acuerdo conmigo; lo que me interesa es que lo que escriba sirva para generar reflexiones, discusiones abiertas y respetuosas, siempre basadas en la inteligencia de quien escribe y quien comenta.
Pasado este capítulo y para cerrar con mejor sabor de boca, decidí que otros hablaran por mí. Se llaman Aterciopelados y han sido premiados con varios Grammy (los originales y los latinos); reconocidos por grandes revistas como Billboard y Rolling Stones y coreados en cientos de países.
¡Gracias a los Aterciopelados por poner música a lo que muchos pensamos!
