Aunque nos salga el fútbol por las orejas y lo que “te rondaré morena”, sin duda esto de ser campeones del mundo ha sido muy emocionante para todos.
La roja ha igualado a pobres y ricos, a altos y bajos, a españoles y a ecuatorianos, a bolivianos, a colombianos, a rumanos y marroquíes…De muchas ventanas de todo el país colgaba las banderas nacionales e incluso en balcones que hace menos de dos meses hubiera sido impensable. Y por una vez no ha habido nadie que se apropiara en exclusiva de los símbolos que representan una nación.
Yo creo que salvo unos pocos, desde luego muy respetables, no ha habido bicho viviente que no se haya emocionado con el gol de Iniesta, después de casi dos horas con riesgo de padecer todo tipo de afecciones cardíacas.
Esta selección ha conseguido lo que no han podido ni programas de integración, ni políticas segregacionistas, ni discurso trasnochados… Los seguidores de la roja no importando ni procedencia, ni condición, ni color hemos cantado a coro ¡Qué viva España! Y se ha demostrado que un grupo de chavales han conseguido que nos olvidemos de rencores antiguos.
Sólo espero que no se nos olviden los sentimientos positivos que se han despertado con este Mundial y entendamos de una vez por todas que esta sociedad que ha aupado a esta selección y ha vitoreado sus nombres en un recibimiento multitudinario es multicultural, multirracial y plural y que todos juntos ¡PODEMOS!
