La popular actriz colombiana Sofía Vergara podría actuar en la versión de cine de The Three Stooges (Los tres chiflados).
Está negociando su participación con los hermanos Peter y Bobby Farrelly (There´s Something About Mary (Algo pasa con Mery), 1998), informa Variety.
La colombiana, que ha adquirido en los últimos tiempos una gran relevancia por su papel de Gloria en la serie Modern Family, interpretaría a una mujer sin escrúpulos que intenta engañar al trío cómico formado por Moe, Larry y Curly para que la ayuden a acabar con su marido rico y quedarse con su dinero.
La película de los Farrelly estará dividida en tres cortometrajes cada uno de 27 minutos y Vergara, en caso de cerrarse su contratación, aparecería en el segundo.
Está previsto que The Three Stooges vea la luz en 2012.
